About Go Positive

Inspired by great stories and motivated by positive people, we are a family business created to drive the amazing effects you can experience by Going Positive. We believe the motivational messages on our apparel can inspire people to Go Positive. On a day to day basis we are all given opportunities and presented with challenges that can at times dictate how the rest of our day goes depending on the path we choose. Our family has a philosophy ( most of the time we practice it and sometimes we need help getting back on the track) "making everyday a great day". In fact as we leave each other in the morning we generally leave with that statement "Make it a great day!". This statement is used as a reminder to START the day with remembering that how we assess the events and happenings of the day WILL BE UP TO US.

Sometimes it allows us to take the positive path and sometimes it's a reminder when we are heading down a negative path that it is not a direction we want to go, so change course as quickly as possible.( after all, we are human)

Here's where the idea for our cornerstone product (the Go Positive sock) was developed many years ago (way before we finally officially launched the company in 2015). For 25years Ron ( husband/dad) has subjected his family ( Rachelle/wife/mom, CEO of Go Positive, Madelyn/ daughter/ sister/ CC(reative)O, Gwen/ daughter/ sister/ CM(arketing)O, and Joise/daughter/sister, CF(un)O) to quotes, movies, books, audio books, videos, and endless stories with positive life messages. Many of the stories reference the classic example of how easily influenced people can be: (example:)

Have you ever had a morning when you first awake and you walk to turn the alarm clock off, or the bathroom, or the coffee pot and you stub you toe on something? The pain is even more intense because you're still half asleep and that one incident can often snowball through the rest of your day with additional negative incidents that you can't seem to get away from. In fact it's a story most people will likely retell all day long unknowingly keeping that negative ORA alive.

That's where our idea came from- why don't we put a positive message on top of a sock- which for most people is one the 1st things you do everyday ( put on socks) which could start your day in a positive direction! 

As a family we all loved the idea and for several years we talked about the many sayings we would use, how it can expand into apparel, how we could invent our own term of "positive apparel" and more importantly how we can impact the world in a positive way through this awesome brand and movement!! We want to go way beyond a product or several products and create a movement that positively impacts the world!

Well, here we are- the company is all launched. The family all plays a role in its creation and growth ( and I mean really plays a role- driving creative, pricing, branding, long and short term partners, distribution, cost, financials- basically our kids are earning an MBA at 16, 12, and 8 in a learn while you work model.

We are so happy you have found us and we hope you become a fan of the Go Positive movement along with us.
